Auswide Projects is a non-profit community-based organisation which develops and manages projects that assist local people to improve their job skills, their ability to seek, obtain and retain employment, and their sense of purpose and direction.

Auswide Projects has developed and managed over 15 Green Corps over the previous 3 years, in the South East of NSW, ACT and Northern Victoria. Auswide Projects has particular expertise and interest in Indigenous conservation and sites and is proud of the impact Green Corps has on Indigenous sites, Indigenous young people and the general community.

YWCA NSW is a public benevolent institution led by women and committed to women and their families. They aim to create better lives through the programs and services they deliver. The YWCA has been involved in Green Corps projects since the beginning in the mid to late 90's.

IsaSKILLS have run many successful Green Corps projects, including the Mt Isa Forestry Trial. In this project, none of the participants had worked before, except for one, who had learnt his skills in jail. The team completed a major plantation project, and seven of the participants found work after the course.

IsaSKILLS are a comprehensive employment, training, and youth services provider who operate three sites in Mount Isa, one of which is the Job Futures Youth Centre . This centre offers JPET, a range of Qld State youth programs, life skills training, and social and sporting activities for young people.

IMPACT Make Your Mark is a not-for-profit community based organisation. Its primary aim is to assist disadvantaged, disabled and unemployed people through providing training, developing skills and assisting them to gain employment. The organisation provides quality training, welfare and community services to the people of the Bundaberg region.

IMPACT Make Your Mark's recruitment strategy for Green Corps is aimed at selecting a mix of participants who are committed to achieving quality environmental outcomes while working in a dynamic team focused environment.

IMPACT staff support team members throughout their Green Corps placement, empowering them with the skills and confidence to overcome challenges, and establish pathways for entry into employment or training. Projects delivered by IMPACT have involved a range of activities including bush regeneration, fencing, fauna and flora studies, and plant propagation.

Northumberland Network (Cessnock Community Training Centre Inc) provides training and staffing services to the community and industry of the Hunter. The Network delivers a range of state and federally funded programs designed to meet the needs of a growing community. As an RTO Northumberland Network takes a proactive and flexible approach towards providing training for individuals and industry.

As a Green Corps Delivery Agency they have partnered surrounding councils, Landcare, and other interested groups in delivering quality projects. Major achievements include the initial work on the historic Queens Wharf Project at Morpeth, refurbished animal enclosures at Blackbutt Reserve, establishment of the Green Corps Loop Walk in Singleton; major pedestrian precinct works in Wollombi and Laguna.

Hunter Workways (Eastlake Skills Centre Limited) has worked on a number of innovative Green Corps projects. Their 2004 Koala project gave participants a chance to gain new skills and an appreciation for the environment while restoring the koala habitat in Port Stephens. In 2005 the Green Corps team upgraded Anna Bay's coastline through erosion control, bush regeneration and noxious weed removal. The projects have promoted confidence and leadership skills and community support has been overwhelming.

Hunter Workways was established by the local community to assist unemployed people. Over the last 18 years it has provided state and federally-funded programs in employment, education and training.

Access Community Group has delivered seven successful Green Corps projects in the Illawarra area.

Access Community Group is an organisation that lives in the constant hope that individuals, walking through their doors will have life changing positive outcomes. In times of employment insecurity, it is difficult to assess the future. Great Lakes Community Resources Incorporated ("the Association") is a not-for-profit community development organisation. Namtec Inc. is a youth development and training organisation located in Nambour. They provide support and training programs (both non-accredited and nationally recognised training). They offer nationally recognised training in the following areas: Certificate I and II in Horticulture, Certificate I in Engineering, Certificate I, II and III in Hospitality and Course in Safety Induction for the Construction Industry.

All programs are provided to disadvantaged and long-term unemployed with the main target group being aged between 12 and 24 years. Namtec Inc. has been successfully delivering horticulture training in conjunction with various community groups and government to achieve horticultural and environmental outcomes for the wider community and local environment.

Newtrain. Green Corps projects and activities delivered by Newtrain include natural area restoration and protection of areas of cultural significance. Newtrain provides professional service delivery to the individual, industry and government, designed to raise funds that in turn enable us to assist those in our community who are less fortunate.

Tangentyere Council. The central objectives of Tangentyere Council are to relieve the poverty, sickness, destitution, distress, misfortune and/or helplessness of Aboriginal people in Central Australia.


Job Futures SEQ has been the delivery agency for over 50 Green Corps Projects in the last 3 years. They have been involved in the development of numerous young people and assisted many communities around the south east QLD and northern NSW.

Our current projects include Pine Rivers, Beaudesert, Crows nest, Numinbah, Maleny, Kyogle and Uki. Green Corps SEQ projects are designed to preserve and restore Australia's natural environment and heritage. Participants acquire improved career and employment prospects through accredited training, structured work activities and work experience. Whilst improving personal development skills and learning to work in a team environment.
