R1A-VICDIV-B Biodiversity Ark
Working alongside the Corangamite Catchment Management Authority and local landcare groups, this team will work on natural ecosystems around the Surf Coast, Bellarine and Greater Geelong. Participants will complete a Certificate II in Conservation and Land Management.
The project aims to restore habitat for locally vulnerable fauna and flora species. Activities to achieve this goal will include:
• Bush regeneration
• Revegetation
• Fencing
• Minor construction works
• Seed collection and propagation
• Erosion control
• Interpretive signage

R1-WABJL-A EnviroLink
EnviroLink will be working with Tokyu Corporation and the City of Joondalup to provide young people with hands on experience and training to position them for the future growth in green jobs in the upper North Metro area of Perth. Participants will gain experience in the following:- training and hands-on learning experiences in the installation of energy efficient products (such as insulation for buildings) designed to reduce carbon emissions; regeneration and habitat protection and restoration, including wetlands and National Park locations; landcare and coastal care activities including erosion control; beach and dune rehabilitation; wildlife and fish habitat protection; eco tourism; biodiversity monitoring; flora, fauna and land surveys and audits; activities to care for the natural environment; heritage protection and cultural heritage.

R1-WABTG-C Improving the Natural Areas of the Peel-Yalgorup wetland system
The Mandurah project “Improving the Natural Areas of the Peel-Yalgorup Wetland System” will assist in the rehabilitation of bush land, estuary and coastal areas within Mandurah by focusing on the Peel-Yalgorup wetland system which is the largest in the Southwest and is Ramsar listed. This includes the Peel Inlet, Harvey Estuary and lakes systems. The project will assist in the stabilization of the banks of the Lower Serpentine River and Peel Harvey Estuary, habitat creation, improving biodiversity through planting and protection of existing vegetation, mapping, monitoring, improving visitor access and environmental education.
